Calls for volunteers for the 2012 Cornwall Film Festival will go out in September 2012.
Volunteering & Work Experience
Want to attend the Festival, see behind the scenes and get a rather stylish item of clothing into the bargain, all for free?
Volunteer for just three short shifts over the Festival weekend and earn a FREE Day Pass for the Festival, plus a free festival t-shirt.
Cornwall Film Festival relies heavily on its team of volunteers both in the lead up to and during the Festival weekend.
We are looking for Volunteers to take on the following job roles at this year's Festival:
- Team Leader
- Front of House Assistants
- Technical Assistants
- Waiting Staff
- Industry Delegate Assistants
- Evaluation Supervisor
- Vox Pop Producers
- Photographer
- Runners
- Festival Film Monitor
- Customer Care Assistants
We also have Work experience opportunities at the Festival office at any time of year, which could involve:
- Online research & promotion
- Online social networking
- Marketing & PR
- Processing film submissions
- Updating the Festival website
- Helping to organise and manage events
- Admin
- Watching films
In return for their generous donation of time, volunteers for the Festival and those on work experience will get:
- Access to festival events subject to avalability and shift pattern
- A Cornwall Film Festival T-shirt
- Experience working on one of the most dynamic of Cornish Festivals and be part of the team who make it happen!
