Cornwall Film Festival just days away - passes offer amazing value!

Film lovers in the South West won't find a better deal than the Cornwall Film Festival this coming weekend. Day and weekend passes give everyone a chance to enjoy an inspiring selection of Cornish, British and international screenings plus workshops, talks and special events for all ages — all three days at Newquay's Lighthouse Cinema.

This year the festival celebrates its 10th year of supporting filmmaking — and filmgoing — in Cornwall as well as Cornish heritage and culture. Almost two dozen features and documentaries plus over 175 short films will be screened alongside workshops, talks and forums. Many of the low-budget features were made for a song, including three made in Cornwall or by Cornish artists, and over a third of the features were directed by women. What's not to celebrate?

Festival passes are the best deal around, allowing free entry into all shorts screenings and most workshops and talks, plus 50% or more discount on all major feature films and documentaries, a number of them South West premieres.

And come join us and sing Happy Birthday in English and Cornish in the cinema foyer on Friday 4 November at 6.45pm — student pastry chefs at Cornwall College are designing the chocolate lighthouse cake. Penn-bloodh lowen dhymmo vy!
