NOW WELCOMING ENTRIES FOR CORNWALL FILM FESTIVAL 2008

ANOTHER COUNTRY International Short Film Award
Open to films made outside the world’s media metropolises. In towns, villages and rural areas, filmmakers are producing exciting films of all genres, made in the communities in which they live. These are the films the award is all about.
All submitted films must be under 10 minutes in duration. Shortlisted films will be screened in several communities across Cornwall, where audiences will be able to vote for their favourite films. A final shortlist will be screened at Cornwall Film Festival 2008 and the winner decided on the night. The overall winner will receive a £1000 cash prize.

Cornish Shorts / Features
We take pride in the thriving Cornish film industry, and a key aim of the Festival is showcasing films where at least one of the creative team (writer, director, producer) is resident in Cornwall.
Deadline for Cornish entries (no fee): 5pm Tuesday 15th July 2008.
Late deadline for Cornish entries (£25 late fee): 5pm Tuesday 29th July 2008.

N.B. All films, whether Cornish or International, must have been completed after 1st January 2007. There is a maximum of 5 entries per person.
